[Felipe Hsieh]

Felipe started his tango in 2002. He is attracted deeply by the dance, the music, and the culture. He decided to make tango his life career after learning and inspiring by the spirits of the classic tango from various the greatest tango dancers such as Toto Faraldo, Miguel Zotto, Geraldine Rojas, Lorena Ermocida, Leandro Paulu, Fabian Peralta; he is influenced most by the greatest contemporary Argentine tango masters -- Javier Rodriguez, Andrea Misse, Sebastian Misse, and Andrea Reyero.  From 2006 he has already performed and taught the tango in Perugia(Italy), Buenos Aires(Argentine), Sydney (Australia), Moscow (Russia), Seoul (Korea), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Shanghai, Beijing(China), Taipei and various cities in Taiwan. He also performed tango in TV shows, commercial advertisings, danced for the stage dramas and had been the tango dance director for a music video. Besides the tango, Felipe is also a creative designer. he worked in product design for years and get the IF Design Awards before his working full-time for tango. His animation work "The Spider-Man Tango" has enjoyed great success in the tango community, and it was invited to be one of the opening films for the LGBT film festival 2013. With his engineering and design background, he launched his own tango shoe brand " FELIPE.H" in 2014. Felipe also creates a tango dance notation system, and publish it in his book "INITIAL TANGO - the tango ideogram writing system" in early 2018.
